Like the magnolias and the great foliage at the Masters, Augusta-Richmond County has a strong mix of a vibrant business climate, a savvy labor force, and superb quality of life. Although thousands of visitors flock to the Masters in the month of April, Augusta is also focused on providing important operating advantages to new and expanding businesses.

A great diversity of companies are located in Augusta-Richmond County, including Textron Specialized Vehicles such as E-Z-GO and Bad Boy Buggies, Graphic Packaging, Cardinal Health, Kellogg’s, FPL Foods, Thermal Ceramics, Nutrien, Solvay Advanced Polymers, Starbucks, Unisys, Chemtrade, Union Agener, Bennett International, Electrolux, Olin, Kemira, US Battery, Automatic Data Processing, T-Mobile, FedEx Ground, Manus Bio and many others.

Augusta has been named by BizJournals.com as “The Most Affordable Place in the United States To Own A Home”. Housing in Augusta is approximately 61% of the national average. Overall, the cost of living is about 82% of the national average. This translates into overall lower operating costs for companies, making Augusta even more attractive for new locations.

Also, Southern Business & Development magazine named Augusta as one of the “Top Ten Places in the South With Plenty of Talented Labor.” The 1800-acre Augusta Corporate Park was also named by the publication as one of the “Top Ten SuperSites in the South”.
